Introduction to Community Coaching Certification(ICC)

CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST

(indoor and outdoor session)

Cost: $50 (Payable at start of course – cheque made out to Cross Country Yukon)
Dates: October 27th 9:00-5:00
Location: Race Office in ski stadium
 

Introduction to Community Coaching and Community Coaching(ICC/CC combo course)

Be efficient and get 2 courses in one!   ICC mandatory before taking a CC course.

Cost: $100 (Payable at start of course – cheque made out to Cross Country Yukon)
Location: Whitehorse Ski Club Race Office and ski trails
Dates: Wed November 14th 6:00-9:00 (ICC portion)
           Saturday November 24th 9:00-6:00 (with break in day for Grey Mt. race)
           Sunday November 25th 9:00-4:00

Be prepared to be active inside on the evening courses prepared to be on snow (classic and skate) for Saturday and Sunday. Don't have skate gear? Contact ski base for rentals.

Learning To Train (L2T). DRYLAND 

CC course prerequiste
Cost: $50 (Payable at start of course – cheque made out to Cross Country Yukon)
Location: Whitehorse Ski Club Race Office and ski trails
Dates:  Saturday October 13th 9:00-4:00
            Sunday November 14th 9:00-4:00

Learning To Train (L2T). ON SNOW

Cost: $50 (Payable at start of course – cheque made out to Cross Country Yukon)
Location: Whitehorse Ski Club Race Office and ski trails
Dates:  Saturday November 3rd: 9:00-4:00
            Sunday November 4th 9:00-4:00

Be prepared to be on snow (classic and skate) for Saturday and Sunday.

  • Please contact Amanda Deuling at 332-4734 with questions. Whitehorse Ski Club Jackrabbit and Bunny leaders please register with Sarah Murray at the ski club.   All others please   email Amanda to register.
  • A minimum of 5 participants is required to offer the course.
  • If you want us to offer another course, please let Amanda know. If there is enough interest we will try to accommodate it.
