Favourite Ski Memory:

Skiing to the gravel pit with my Dad with I was 7. Beating my Dad in the 2005 Buckwheat 50km.

My Best Pre-Race Practice:

Eating oatmeal, yogurt, canned fruit, and peanut butter toast. Listening to Basshunter.

My Skiing Goals:

Qualify for NCAA championships and becoming All-American at them.

I would love to… win NCAA championships some year

8th at Nationals 2008 (skate race)

2nd at Alaska Nordic Cup (UAA vs. UAF)

I would love to… travel the world. Do an outrageously long backcountry ski trip.

Eat a lot and drink plenty of water.

Ski the course and do a few sprints to get warmed up.

Visualize good technique and stay relaxed at the start.

Top ten at Nationals 2009.

Ski at the University level.

Stay fit and have fun!

I would love to… ski recreationally for the rest of my life!

Keep it up through University at Carleton, see what Yukoners can do on OUA circuit and go from there.

I can’t remember but most of my good races I’ve had a good warm up.

Have fun skiing all of my life and try to make it to some different races all over the world.

I would love to… ski in some sort of school either in Canada or Alaska and try as hard as I can.
